Mary has worked in the mortgage industry for over 35 years, and her expertise expands between originations, servicing, and the Non-QM space. Mary has close to 20 years of UW background, having held positions of UW, Auditor - UW Team lead, and during this tenure, she also managed the Scenario Desk for a well-known company and mentored the staff of four Scenario Desk Underwriters. In recent years, Mary started mentoring by helping conventional underwriters earn their DE and she also train new hires. Mary's career has included taking on roles as a subject matter expert and tasked with giving depositions for expert testimony on behalf of a mortgage company when they were in litigation. Mary has formulated a process flow for two companies in their correspondent channel and worked as a Forensic Investigative UW during the crash of 2008.
